What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, enter a contest or sweepstakes, respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or participate in another site feature.
When ordering or registering, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
We also collect information about gift recipients so that we can fulfill the gift purchase. The information we collect about gift recipients is not used for marketing purposes.
Like many websites, we use "cookies" to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our websites. Please refer to the "Do we use 'cookies'?" section below for information about cookies and how we use them.

How do we use your information?

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, purchase products, enter a contest or promotion, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

How do we protect visitor information?

Do we use "cookies"?

If you supply us with your telephone number you may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding pending orders, quote requests, new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such telephone calls, please let us know by contacting us via the information listed below. Smart Smoke Inc. will never share, rent or sell your telephone number to any other company or organization.

In certain instances we may disclose your personal information when we have reason to believe that it is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against persons or entities who may be causing injury to you, to Smart Smoke Inc. or to others. We may also disclose your personal information when we believe that the law requires it.

Email

Smart Smoke Inc. will never share, rent or sell your email address to any other company or organization. The use of your email address is strictly for internal business use. We will use your email address to confirm orders, requests or quotes, answer questions and respond to customer service related issues.

Security

When we transfer and receive your personal information, we do so via secure server connections. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.

Policy changes

We may make periodic changes to our privacy policy in whole or in part. Those changes become effective when posted to our web site and replace any previous policies. How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?

To modify your e-mail subscriptions, simply unsubscribe using the SafeUnsubscribe link on every email sent by Smart Smoke, Inc. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.

To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the "My Account" section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.

Third party links

In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).

Changes to our policy

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page. Policy changes will apply only to information collected after the date of the change. This policy was last modified on August 6, 2003.
